About
I'm Antonio Kusmenko
Certified application developer, self-employed since 2025. My clients are small and medium-sized businesses that need a website, want two systems to talk to each other, or want to get rid of a process that still runs by hand.
My path
I grew up in Gummersbach and went to school there. After finishing school I started a commercial apprenticeship and realised within a year that the technology behind the processes interested me more than trading in them.
What followed was a shortened apprenticeship as an application developer at a software company in Lindlar that builds software for car dealerships. The work there was about long-established systems that have been running for decades and still have to work reliably every single day. I mostly programmed in COBOL and C++.
I went self-employed in 2025, at first alongside the apprenticeship. Since then I build websites with Next.js, connect CRM systems through APIs, and automate processes with n8n. I run what I sell: this site sits in a Docker container on a server I set up myself.
How I work
Honest
If something makes no sense or can be solved more cheaply, I say so. Even when it means less work for me.
Built properly
Code you can still read in a year, and systems that don't fall apart after launch. What I hand over is documented.
Direct
You talk to the person who does the development. No layer in between, no ticket number.
